Salem hills is now a Ashoka school. I interviewed mrs. White to. Find out some information about the Ashoka schools

  

What is Ashoka?

Ashoka is a network of schools that promote empathy leadership, problem solving & teamwork 

Who gets the Ashoka awards ?  

Schools get the Ashoka award if they demonstrate the about qualities and demonstrate the above equalitys and pludge to continue to be a change maker school. 

What 4 things do Ashoka schools do? 

We promote/teach empathy leadership problem solving teamwork 

When is the celebration?

Reading buddies

For two weeks we have been working on reading fluency during intervention. Reading buddies work together to get better at vocabulary and reading fluency. The kids have been working so hard to show improvement.
